(Greenwood, S.C., January 20, 2016) – Self Regional Healthcare is extending its Home Health services into Newberry County. Self Regional applied for and was awarded a Certificate of Need by the state of South Carolina due to a desire and need for its home care services in this particular county. Referrals will be accepted starting Monday, January 23.

“The demand for high-quality home care is growing, and we are excited that we can fill this need for our neighbors in Newberry county,” Jeff Wright, director of Home Health services, said. “Our team members are from the Newberry area, so patients will receive the care they need, from fellow community members in the comfort of their own homes. And, as a part of Self Regional, we also provide access to the area’s largest medical center and can provide resources such as specialists and clinical experts that our patients may need.”

Self Regional Home Health Services provides skilled and personal medical care in the patient’s home. It is a convenient, cost-effective alternative to traditional inpatient hospital care and is provided under the supervision of a physician.
