SRH Foundation Director Named
Jack W. Schwartz, CFP, has been named Executive Director of the Self Regional Healthcare Foundation in Greenwood, the charitable arm of Self Regional which helps fund the hospital’s capital, program and equipment needs.
Most recently, Schwartz served as Director of Gift Planning for the Kansas University Endowment Association in Lawrence, Kansas, a $1.4 billion foundation raising $80 million per year.
A Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Schwartz has almost 20 years in leadership roles with university and healthcare foundations, including the University of Saint Mary in Kansas and the St. Paul Medical Center in Dallas.
“We conducted an extensive national search and interviewed many highly qualified candidates,” said Jim Pfeiffer, President and CEO of Self Regional Healthcare. “Jack was the unanimous choice of our selection committee.”
“He has exceptionally strong experience in planned giving and capital campaigns, and I look forward to working with Jack to build the Foundation’s assets and permanent endowment in the years ahead,” Pfeiffer added.
Schwartz takes the reins of the Foundation from Craig White, who will continue to serve as Self Regional’s Vice President of Corporate Compliance, Government Affairs & Internal Audit. Schwartz and his wife, Debbie, a registered nurse, have four daughters.
