(Greenwood, S.C., January 29, 2018) Self Regional Healthcare is now accepting applications for its Patient Family Experience Council. This volunteer council is a collaborative effort among Self Regional team members, administrators, patients and family members that will work together to create the best experience for patients and visitors.

Council members will explore healthcare issues and challenges; improve the planning, delivery and evaluation of services at Self Regional; recommend new policies, programs and services; identify opportunities to improve patient and family satisfaction; and help facilitate change that will benefit all of Self Regional’s patients and their families. For more information and to complete an interest form please visit Self Regional Healthcare’s PFEC webpage: www.selfregional.org/pfec.

“This program is all about listening to the needs, ideas and opportunities of the communities that we are called to serve,” Sarah Hartung, Patient Family Experience coordinator, said. “Members of the council provide our organization with a way to focus on the services we provide through the eyes of others. This council will provide us with invaluable insight into the opinions, thoughts and needs of our community – helping to strengthen communication and improve healthcare services for all of our patients.”

If you have questions or if you would like more information about the Patient Family Experience Council, contact Sarah Hartung at patientfamilyexperience@selfregional.org or (864) 725-5506.
