Notification to patients of potential personal information access

As part of its ongoing commitment to patient privacy, Self Regional Healthcare (SRH) is notifying affected patients of an incident that may affect the security of their protected health information. Self Regional and investigating authorities are unaware of any attempted or actual misuse of patients' protected health information, but Self Regional is providing notification to ensure that patients are aware of the incident, so that they may take steps to protect their information. Self Regional will provide one free year of credit monitoring to affected individuals. Read more...

Pretty in Pink Celebration Coming Up Oct 14

SRH Foundation Receives $150,000 from Symetra Women's Health Classic
The Self Regional Healthcare Foundation will use proceeds from the golf tournament to establish a Women's Health fund for community outreach and programming to improve the health of the region's women. (8/03/2014.)

Local Nursing Students Awarded Scholarships
Eight local students have each been awarded a $1,000 nursing scholarship from the SRH Foundation at its annual nursing scholarship luncheon. (8/01/2014.)

5 Community Grant Recipients Announced
The Community Outreach Committee has selected five local nonprofits to receive a total of $143,000 this quarter to provide safe haven for homeless individuals, expand Girls on the Run, visit limited-income new moms at home, more. (7/11/2014.)

SRH Funds Autism and Cancer Genetic Research
The first 5 projects to be funded in the new Greenwood Genetic Center and Clemson University collaboration focus on the understanding and treatment of autism spectrum disorders, study improved diagnostics for hereditary cancers. (6/13/2014.)
