Dr. Holt is a board certified neurologist. He graduated from Des Moines University Medical School in 2001 and completed his neurology residency at Virginia Commonwealth University in 2005. Dr. Holt did an additional fellowship year in neurophysiology/neuromuscular disorders at the University of Tennessee.
Dr. Anthony Holt joined Piedmont Health Group in 2012. He sees patients with varying health issues which includes, but is not limited to, migraine headaches, strokes, Parkinson’s disease, polyneuropathy, carpal tunnel syndrome, multiple sclerosis, epilepsy, etc. He is trained in interpretation of carotid and trans-cranial ultrasound, sleep studies and EEGs. He performs nerve conduction studies/EMGs. He administers Botox for chronic migraine headaches and movement disorders such as cervical torticollis.
