Self Regional Healthcare Foundation is pleased to announce that two Piedmont Technical College students have received scholarships to assist with their respiratory therapy studies.
Self Regional Healthcare is extending its Home Health services into Edgefield County
Individuals who serve on the Self Regional Healthcare Board of Trustees possess a varied skillset and a gift for civic leadership. The group is entrusted with choosing the best strategic course for the organization and for the future of healthcare in the region.
The donation is a series of multi-year gifts given by the EATON Corporation to benefit Self Regional Healthcare.
“We are fortunate to be able to help local organizations that do so much good for the community,” said Dr. David Isenhower, Chief Medical Informatics Officer at Self Regional Healthcare. “It’s a testament to their hard work and dedication to receive these grants thatallow them to expand their services and benefit more people in need.”

Simplified entrances for Self Regional Medical Center starting September 1, 2016.
Advanced ICU Care’s and MUSC’s team of intensivists and critical care nurses work around-the-clock complementing the care provided by the Self Regional physicians. The program continuously monitors patient vital signs, medications, labs and clinical status.
These announcements come just months after the two healthcare organizations entered into an affiliation agreement that was designed to enhance and improve healthcare services available in Edgefield County. That agreement established a long-term, collaborative relationship between the two hospitals and opened the way for joint projects like this medical office building.
Winners of the award posses a caring attitude and respect for patients, residents and students; value human dignity; and demonstrate a passion for teaching, working with others and participating in community service activities.
Healthy Learners addresses identified unmet health needs of school children through coordination of care with the school nurse, parent and local provider partners to assure the health need is met. Healthy Learners also provides transportation for children that face transportation as a barrier to receiving health care.
