The mission of the SVS VQI is to improve patient safety and the quality of vascular care delivery by providing web-based collection, aggregation and analysis of clinical data submitted in registry format for all patients undergoing specific vascular treatments. The VQI operates 14 vascular registries.
Certain time sensitive elective procedures and surgeries will return to Self Regional Healthcare in phases. Facility and procedural preparations are being made so that surgeries resume as safely as possible.
“Like every other healthcare system in the nation, we at Self Regional Healthcare continue to experience the significant financial impact of declining revenues resulting from this pandemic and the necessity to pause elective surgery and other services,” said Pfeiffer. “Just over the past couple weeks our revenue is down approximately 35%, and that trend is expected to continue in the near term.”
