Fitness for Healing and Health

Why Exercise Matters During Cancer Treatment

Staying active during and after cancer treatment is one of the most powerful ways to support your recovery and well-being. Whether you’re currently undergoing treatment, healing from surgery, or in remission, regular physical activity can help you feel stronger, more energized, and more in control.

Research shows that exercise can reduce fatigue, boost immunity, lift your mood, and significantly improve your quality of life. In fact, a 2018 review published in Psycho-Oncology found that exercise can meaningfully reduce symptoms of depression in cancer patients.
