Area Organizations Invited to Apply for 2016 AED Grants

The Self Regional Heart and Vascular Center is holding a community-based Automatic External Defibrillator, or AED, grant program to train and equip community members in case of a cardiac emergency. The program’s goal is to increase awareness of what to do in a cardiac emergency, train more people on how to perform hands-only CPR and to equip various facilities in the Lakelands region with AEDs in case of an emergency.

Edgefield County Hospital teams with Self Regional Healthcare

The Boards of Self Regional Healthcare and Edgefield County Hospital announced that they have entered into an Affiliation Agreement that is designed to enhance and improve healthcare services available in Edgefield County collaboratively. The agreement will establish a long-term, collaborative relationship between the two hospitals that is focused on community health and patient care services.
